I have many goals, and different types as well. Daily goals keep me accountable each day, long term goals allow me to push myself and meet deadlines in my life, and future goals so that I always have a challenge. Each gives me something to work for, and look forward to, each is a challenge that I am willing to accept.
Long term and future goals are my challenges, things and experiences I know won't come without the work. I have a large list but some of my more exciting ones include: making it to state with my high school basketball team, traveling the world, running a marathon, writing a romance novel or series, designing amazing buildings, and becoming a mother. Some of these goals are not easily attenable but I would love to pursue them. |

I came across this speaker, John Helton, in one of my classes. I find him very interesting because he didn't follow what everyone else did to become successful. Deciding to stay true to himself and work on his short term goals while still pursuing his long term goals was very beneficial to him. Never give up, it won't always be easy, but it can't always be difficult either. You are doing amazing.

FIVE DOMAINS OF WELL BEING Goals are an essential part of an individual's life. They provide ambition, promote hard work, and give the feeling of accomplishment. It is proven that the happiest people have goals and ambitions in each of these 5 categories. These categories include: physical, financial, intellectual, emotional, and social. While pursuing actions to reach goals in each of these categories, and individuals happiness and well being increase.
The activities that I partake in to fill these domains include:
PHYSICAL - lifting & running
FINANCIAL - babysitting INTELLECTUAL - reading EMOTIONAL - romance movies SOCIAL - being with friends While those are activities I take action in presently, using those 5 domains and the things I like to do now to set goals for the future is very beneficial. For example I can work to take college courses to fill intellectual. I can look for a lifelong partner to fill emotional; and I can chase new personal bests in running and lifting heavier weight, filling physical. Each of these actions are things I would love to do, while continuing to better myself.
